In a statement on Twitter, Valve, the producer of "Half Life: Alyx" has just confirmed that this game will be released on March 23. "Half Life: Alyx" will appear in virtual reality (VR) format.
Currently, gamers in Vietnam can reserve this game through the Steam platform at the price of 432,000 VND (10% off).
"Half Life: Alyx" will be the sequel to the Half Life series since "Half Life 2: Episode 2" was released in 2007. Right from the name, "Half Life: Alyx" has also been related to the core. Alyx Vance character was introduced in Half Life 2.
In 2007, Half Life 2: Episode 2 ended with an opening which left many regrets for the fans. The antagonist is a group of evil aliens Combine who have won the victory, causing protagonists Gordon Freeman and Alyx to fall into a situation of fleeing. It is still unclear whether Half Life: Alyx will continue the timeline from the previous section.
Like most virtual reality games, "Half Life: Alyx" requires a powerful PC configuration and high quality VR glasses to provide the best experience. If the performance is not sufficient, users cannot fully experience the images and space in the game.
Valve has also introduced its VR system for $ 1,000, called Valve Index. It includes a VR headset, two controllers and two sensors. According to Business Insider, anyone who owns this VR system will get free game "Half Life: Alyx".
